Disclaimer

TGE Index is not legal, financial, tax or investment advice. It publishes reported price ranges and deal terms compiled from public sources and verified contributions, each with its source, the date it was checked and a confidence grade.

Figures are reported ranges, not statements of fact about what any named company charges or has agreed. Disputed claims are labelled as disputed and are not findings of fact. We do not recommend any exchange, market maker, auditor, launchpad or structure, and nothing on this site tells you whether to sign an agreement.

The Decoder computes the intrinsic value of a call option at exit under the assumptions stated on the page. It is an illustration of scale, not a valuation. Real agreements contain terms it does not model.

Before signing anything, take advice from a qualified lawyer and financial adviser in your jurisdiction.

Terms of use

Access

A paid plan gives you a licence key. The key is the account: whoever holds it has the access. It is licensed to you or your organisation for your own decisions and may not be shared publicly, resold, or used to republish the database or any substantial part of it.

What you may do

• Use figures in your own budgets, negotiations and internal documents.
• Quote individual figures publicly, with attribution to TGE Index and the record's original source.

What you may not do

• Copy, scrape or systematically extract the database, or feed it into another product or model without a data licence.
• Present a figure from the database as a quote or offer from the firm it describes.
• Use the site to harass or threaten anyone named in it.

Accuracy and liability

We work to keep records accurate and correct them on evidence, but the database is provided as it is, without warranty that any figure is current or complete. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from your use of TGE Index is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Term sheet reviews

A review is a written comparison of a document you send against the database. It is delivered within 48 hours of the document arriving. It states what clauses cost and how disclosed deals compare. It is not a legal opinion and does not say whether to sign. You confirm you are entitled to share the document with us; we keep it confidential, do not publish it, and delete it after delivery unless you agree to contribute the terms.

Refunds

Crypto payments cannot be charged back, so the rules are written here before any sale.

• Plans: a full refund, minus network fees, within seven days of payment, as long as no withheld figure has been viewed with your key. Once a locked figure has been shown, the product has been delivered and the refund window closes.
• Term sheet review: a full refund, minus network fees, until the document arrives. Once work has started, no refund.
• Wrong network or wrong amount: the invoice names the network and the exact amount. Funds sent to a different network are recoverable only where we control the receiving key on that network. We will try, and we will say plainly when we cannot.
• Refunds are paid in the coin you paid with, to an address you give us in writing.

Privacy

We collect as little as the service needs to work.

• When you browse: our server logs do not record IP addresses or browser identifiers. There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it serves them.
• When you pay: the invoice id, the plan, the amount, the settlement time and the paying transaction, because a payment has to be matched to access and booked for tax.
• If you give an email: it is used to send your key, receipts, a renewal reminder and replies to your messages. Nothing else, and it is never sold or shared.

To have your email and order records deleted, write to hello@tgeindex.com. Payment records we are required to keep for tax are retained for the legal period and nothing more.
